Shiekh Mohammad Imran expresses concern over rising vegetable prices


Srinagar, Oct 11 (KNS): Former Deputy Mayor Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) Shiekh Mohammad Imran on Sunday expresses concern over the sky rocketing prices of vegetables in Kashmir.
According to Kashmir News Service, he said that most the people in Kashmir are dependent in labour and they can’t buy the vegetables on exorbitant rates and appealed food and civil supplies to make rate list mandatory for every vegetable seller.
He said the department should aware the people through news papers and other social media platforms regarding the regular rates of the vegetable prices.
He has appealed the people who are buying the vegetables on exorbitant rates they should inform police and civil administration, he also appealed the police and civil administration to enforce the rates lists throughout valley.’ (KNS).
