Shia’s of Pakistan have played a great role in building Pakistan: Aga Muntazir

Srinagar, May 03 (KNS): J&K Anjuman Sharie Shian’s Advocate Aga Muntazir said Shia’s of Pakistan are not minority in Pakistan, they are part of larger Muslim identity and this group has invested the most to create and stabilise the country. “However, today it is agonising as well as disappointing to see that the society has condensed to this that youth are being targeted and abducted,” Mehdi said.

“Though, we are aware about the law and order situation but for the Shias of Karachi it is becoming alarming,” Mehdi said in a statement issued to KNS.

Advocate Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi urged Prime Minister Imran Khan and government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to restore faith and establish rule of law. If not that, the country will be in something like civil turbulence and taken over by circles of violent retaliatory actions from each side.

Mehdi also hailed the efforts of Pasban Aza, All Pakistan Shia Action Committee, Tahafuz-e-Azadari Council, the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan and other civil society organizations for highlighting the issue. (KNS)
