Srinagar, Jan 29 (KNS): Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) has strongly condemned the use of delay tactics in issuing a bail to its incarcerated chief Shabir Ahmad Shah in a fabricated case. Shabir Shah’s bail application was not even heard today and the next date was fixed on January 31.
DFP said that the case against Shabir Shah sahib is not even argued and they issue long dates of new hearings. Once the date comes nearer the case is postponed for no reasons.
Terming it a fixed match, the DFP said that the Judge left the court room for some time and he conveyed about the next date of hearing through someone there.
Terming not bailing out the incarcerated leader by Court, as delaying tactics just to prolong the illegal detention of Shabir Shah, the DFP said that justice loving people of India should ponder on what is going on with Shabir Shah in a Delhi court.
During the last hearing of the case which was 10 days back Shabir Shah’s wife had appealed through an application about the deteriorating health conditions of Shah Sb. The jail authorities were ordered by the court to submit the health status report of Shabir Shah but till date nothing has been done so for. Till date not even a single court order regarding the health of Shabir Shah has been honoured by the Tihar jail authorities. The ailing leader has not been provided any medical aid despite multiple Court orders. The Tihar jail authorities are hence endangering the life of Shabir Shah. (KNS)
