Injured shifted to DH Anantnag for treatment

Anantnag, Feb 15 (KNS): At least eleven passengers including seven women sustained injuries on Thursday after a vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road in Achabal area of Anantnag district.
“A Tata Sumo bearing registration no JKO3B- 5899 was on way to Vailoo from Anantnag when it met with an accident near petrol pump at Achabal, resulting in injuries to all the boarded passengers,” an official said.
Police officials rushed to the spot quickly and rescued all the injured persons and shifted them to District hospital, Anantnag for treatment.
The injured persons were identified as Ishrat Jan, Lovely Jan, Ehan Tariq, all from Sagam area and Shabir Ahmed Shah, Insha Shabir, father daughter duo of Badasgam, Amir Suheel Sheikh of Hillar, Muneer Ahmed Kenoo from Nai Basti, Gazala from Kokernag, Kowsara resident of Nowgam area, Nageena from Bindoo and Ayaz Ahmed Padder of Dandipora Larnoo area.
“All the injured have been provided treatment at the district hospital Anantnag while the condition of all of them is stable,” Superintendent of District Hospital Anantnag, Dr Majid Mehrab said. (KNS)
