Srinagar, Oct 16 (KNS): Raja Begum, grandmother of a senior journalist and Bureau Chief Zee Salam, Syed Tajamul passed away on Monday.
Raja Begum, commonly known as Amma Ji breathed her last after brief illness at her home in Bandipora.
Various social and religious organizations visited the residence of senior journalist and expressed grief to the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, Editor-in-Chief, Kashmir News Service (KNS), Muhammad Aslam Bhat has also expressed grief over the demise of Syed Tajamul’s grandmother.
He prayed for the departed soul and also for the courage to bereaved family. (KNS)
