Srinagar, Nov 18 (KNS): Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the torch bearer for not only Muslim Ummah, but the whole humanity as well. His message is not specific to any race, region, creed, tribe or any group, but any ailing, fractured, torn or disturbed society, can be benefited by his teachings to overcome every hurdle for peace and prosperity, oneness and brotherhood. This was stated in a Seerat Conference at Hyderpora by political, religious leaders including Syed Ali Geelani, Mohammad Yaseen Malik, Mohammad Ashraf Sehraie, Advocate Zahid Ali, Gh. Nabi Sumji, Altaf Hussain Nadvi, Syed Shams-u-Rehman and Molvi Bashir Irfani.
In his presidential address chairman Hurriyat Conference (G), Syed Ali Geelani said that a land of anarchy and bloodshed, brutality and injustice was at the brink of extinct, but his arrival created such a morally sound society that in a short span of just 2 decades it ruled whole Arab and with a certain and loud message of this system spreading beyond the their borders.
His devoted and dedicated companions under the auspicious guidance of world’s most visionary personality, worked hard to implement His teaching in practicality, giving birth to an Islamic state where from the rays of prosperity, moral highness and justice peeped through the darkness of whole world.
Mentioning the sacrifices of thousands of our prisoners he said that Sang Parivaar is only prolonging their custody using judicial tools and Mr. Shabir Ahamad Shah, Peer Saifullah, Altaf Ahamad Shah, Ayaz Akbar, Raja Meraj-ud-Din Kalwal, Nayeem Ahamad Khan, Shahid-ul-Islam, Farooq Ahamad Dar, Shahid Yousaf, Syed Shakeel Ahmad, Zahoor Ahamad Watali, Asia Andrabi, Fahmeedah Sofi, Naheedah Nasreencontinue to bear the brunt of this victimization for more than a year now. Similarly for the last 9 years Mr. Dr. G. M. Bhat is languishing in Tihar jail and the list of fake witness (240), out of which only 33 have surfaced in these 9 years and if the judicial pace is same it may need another 50 years for judicial pears to testify his charges.
He said that shifting of aged and ailing Hurriyat leader Gh Mohammad Khan Sopori to a Haryana jail is nothing but victimization and revenge. He further said that it is disgraceful and shameful for the so-called Indian democracy to slap a pro-freedom leader Masrat Aalam public safety act 36th time. Their own courts have quashed his detention several times, but authorities can not dare to let him free.
Speaking on the occasion, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat chairman, Mohammad Ashraf Sehraie said that Prophet (PBUH) was designated a pious mission of establishing the rule of Quran and Sunnah. As Islam can never thrive and flourish under the shadow of any other religion or faith.
He said that we too have to strive for establishing such system of governance as we believe it is the only way to lead the ailing humanity to peace and prosperity.
Addressing this auspicious gathering JKLF chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik said that the life of Prophet (PBUH) is a deep ocean and it can quench the thirst of every needy who has the will and wish to do so. He said that unity on basis of Quran and Sunah is the only remedy for all ours ills.
Referring to the prevailing situation in the state Yaseen malik said that administrative data of high poll percentage should not discourage us. We should focus on poll boycott and whosoever wins, should be immaterial for us. He reminded the ordinance that even a disgusting poll percentage of just 2% has not barred the political henchmen to shamefully celebrate their victory.
Meanwhile in a Seerat Conference all participants unanimously expressed their grief on the killing of three people and several injured in a suspected blast at Nirankari Bhawan in Amritsar’s Rajasansi village on Sunday. (KNS)
