Srinagar, Nov 29 (KNS): Prominent political activist from Langate and PDP senior activist Mohd Sadiq Mir along with fifty workers Wednesday joined Peoples Conference (PC) in the presence of the party chairman, Sajad Gani lone, District president Mir Hafizullah and senior leaders.
Mir along with his workers joined the party at a function organized by PC at Dak Banglow Handwara.
Mohd Sadiq Mir is a prominent political leader and was previously the right hand of the PDP Constancy head Langate Gh Nabi Pandithpuri.
Welcoming Mohd Sadiq Mir and his supporters into the party fold, PC Chairman congratulated him on joining the party and expressed hope in his commitment and dedication to serve the people and also strengthen the party at the grassroots level.
Speaking on the occasion, Mir said PC was a beacon of hope in an atmosphere of political opportunism and sell-outs that has engulfed the State and deprived its people of their dignity and rights.
Mir said he would work tirelessly to strengthen the party at the grassroots level and take the vision and the mission of the party to every doorstep. (KNS)
