Srinagar, Nov 18 (KNS): Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation Peerzada Haffizulah today after visiting various areas of the city to take stock of sanitation also paid visit to Jenaab Saahib Shrine in Soura.
He was accompanied by senior officers of the Corporation including Chief Sanitation Officer and some ward officers.
Commissioner SMC directed the concerned officials to dismantle the already existing toilet block constructed by SMC and to come up with fully equipped lavatory block under SBM.
Directions were also passed to conduct extensive sanitation drive and go for fencing of a spring which is located behind the shrine.
While interacting with the locals of the area the need of installing dumper bins was put forth before the Commissioner.
Commissioner assured the locals of the area to provide them with the dumper bins at an earliest and resolve their other grievances within the possible resources.
Besides this street lights were also installed at many places around the shrine in Presence of Commissioner SMC. (KNS)
