Rupturing of pipeline damages newly constructed NTPHC building in Qalamabad, endanger lives of patients, staff

Srinagar, May 22 (KNS): The newly constructed New Type Public Health Centre (NTPHC) in Qalamabad village of Langate area in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district is endangering the lives of patients, attendants as well as the staff as the pipe line through the building has got ruptured, thus causing a huge damage to it.

According to KNS Correspondent, the NTPHC Qalamabad besides endangering the lives of patients, attendants and staff lacks every basic facility. The NTPHC as per the attendants is without power, thus leaving the patients as well as the staff to suffer.

Notably, the newly constructed NTPHC has is functioning from last two months.

They said that though the new NTPHC building is without electricity, the solar plant installed in the old NTPHC building has also got damaged during 2016 agitation and was never repaired.

The local resident said that the newly constructed building has also suffered damage due to the rupturing of pipe line in the backyard of the building.

They appealed the officials concerned to look into the matter and fulfill their issues. (KNS)
