Amid anti government slogans opposition stages walkout

Jammu, Jan 20 (KNS): The proceeding of the legislative assembly here on Saturday started with the opposition creating an uproar over the border killings and finally staging a walk out amid slogans against the state government, central government and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi Shouting slogans "56 inch ka sena kahan gaya' , "Ek key badlay Das Sar kee batein karnay wala Modi Kahan hai" the Congress members alleged that Modi went to Lahore uninvited and the response was attack at Pathankote.
According to the KNS correspondent, talking to reporters outside the assembly, the Congress legislature party leader Nawang Rigzin Jora said " Modi went to Lahore to meet Nawaz Sharif the then Pakistan Prime Minister two years back and the response was Pathankote attack. Modi government brought ISI team for joint investigation and events that followed exposed the claims of the central government on surgical strikes".
Talking to reporters, senior National Conference leader and sitting MLA Ali Mohammad Sagar said "The Minister of State in Prime Minister's office has accused the opposition of remaining silent but he does not knowing that opposition has been crying over the border killings for the last two days, Modi government promised "ached din" but darker days are snatching every sort of freedom and peace from the people. The government does not respond well to the escalating situation on borders".
Responding to the opposition charges Minister for Disaster Management, Relief and Rehabilitation Javed Mustafa Mir told reporters " we will give all the details about the deaths and damage to property in the house. We won't hide anything and will take appropriate measures for providing succor and relief to the border populations hit by the cross LoC shelling". (KNS)
