Srinagar, Jul 19 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Abdul Qayoom Wani urged upon the Governor administration for release of jailed Hurriyat leader Ayaz Akber keeping in view the deteriorating health condition of his wife.

In a statement issued to KNS, Wani said that wife of Ayaz akbar is suffering from last stage of cancer and she is need of support of his husband at this time.

He demanded that the jailed leader should be released on humanitarian grounds at an earliest so that his wife and family may have a sigh of relief at this difficult time and the decision will have positive results on the ground. (KNS)
