The teachers raising slogans in favour of their demands urged the governor N N Vohra led administration to fulfill their demands at an earliest so that the teachers could heave a sigh of relief.
The protesting teachers while talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that the government is forcing them to face hardships as their demands were not fulfilled so far.
“The erstwhile government had promised us that our demands will be fulfilled soon but unfortunately all the assurances proved hoax as the PDP-BJP bonhomie came to end. Now, we urge the Governor led administration to put up our demands and fulfill our demands at earliest,” the SSA teachers said.

While talking to KNS, Wani said that if the govt would not implement 7th pay commission on SSA RMSA teachers and masters and delink their salary with state sector, TJAC will intensify the struggle for which an emergency meeting of general counsel of TJAC shall be called on 21st July 2018 to decide the future course of action and the responsibility shall lie on the Govt.
Meanwhile, the protesters later tried to march towards Raj Bhawan here.
