KNS expresses grief over his demise

Srinagar, Mar 20 (KNS): Maqbool Sahil, a prominent author and journalist, passed away on Tuesday evening in Srinagar.
According to the reports, Sahil fell while walking in Lal Bazar area of the city.
People rushed to the spot and found him dead.
A prolific writer, poet, photographer and journalist Sahil was an author of many books.
He was currently working as a senior editor with Kashmir Parcham, Buland Kashmir and Pukar.
He was earlier working with Daily Aftab and Kashmir News Service (KNS).
Meanwhile, KNS Editor-in-Chief, Muhammad Aslam Bhat expressed grief over the demise of the prominent journalist.
KNS management prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul and also for the courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
Notably, a prolific writer, poet and author of many books suffered so much by going to jail for no fault.
An award winning author, Sahil was a par excellent writer.
On March 10, Sahil received the "Best Staffer Award" on 10th anniversary of Rising Kashmir. (KNS)
