Jammu, Jan 11 (KNS): PDP Chief Spokesman Rafi Ahmad Mir today welcomed the state budget saying that this budget is people friendly and a reflection of concerns of Mehbooba Mufti for budgetary and financial empowerment of the state.
Terming the budget “dynamic” and “balanced” he said “besides being the highest capital expenditure budget ever by the state ,the budget highlights many social interventions, including empowerment of Panchayats , women and youth welfare ,revival of horticulture and industries aimed to address some of the chronic issues which have assumed huge social magnitude in the State.
He said that the budget encompasses all the sections and states and initiates their development.” PDP welcomes and supports the initiatives and the budget of the government envisioned by the Chief Minister and Dr Drabu “.It focuses on youth, underprivileged women and development of all sectors ,particularly securing the rights of transgenders ” he said. The Chief Spokesman also expressed hope that early release of funds would facilitate timely execution of development works in the State which often get delayed due to late releases. (KNS)
