Naeem asks Guv to revoke order or face stir

Srinagar, Nov 29 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leaders on Thursday led a protest rally against the recent decision by State Administrative Council (SAC) order that changed Jammu and Kashmir Bank into a Public Service Undertaking (PSU).
The protesters headed by former minister and senior PDP leader Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura marched from party headquarters here towards M A road amid chanting slogans against the decision regarding JK Bank.
However, they were intercepted by police on way following which they culminated their protest peacefully at party headquarters.
Prior to culminating the protest, Naeem demanded authorities to revoke the decision at an earliest, saying that such decisions would create further alienation among people.
Senior Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Naeem Akhtar asked Governor to immediately withdraw the SAC order on J&K Bank or face a mass struggle against the order.
As per Kashmir News Service (KNS) correspondent, talking to reporters on the sidelines of the protest march taken out by PDP against SAC order on J&K Bank, Naeem said, “Some bureaucrats tend to be viceroys of Kashmir and think that they are visor than one and all in Kashmir which they are not. Kashmir is not a colony but a part of India. Though there are very good officers but some officers tending to be supervise try to create controversies.
“We urge Governor to immediately withdraw the order as otherwise new popular government on the very first day of its taking over will withdraw the order but we hope that Governor will immediately withdraw the order in the larger public interest,” he said. (KNS)
