Srinagar, Dec 06 (KNS): Demanding immediate and unconditional release of all prisoners, Hurriyat Conference (G) blamed PDP led administration for unnecessarily prolonging their detention period. Accusing PDP for playing deceitful politics, Hurriyat (G) said that hypocrisy and treachery is the trait of PDP.
In a statement issued to KNS, lashing at PDP, Hurriyat Conference (G) said that this party is the creation of agencies and its rhetoric for battle of ideas stand exposed and added that they should realize this fact that pellets, bullets and Safety Act now stand sign and symbolic for their treacherous politics.
Since the inception of PDP, they are following dictates from Nagpur and there seems no let-up in pellets and bullets, said Hurriyat and added that though pellet gun and chemical weapons are specifically used against wild animals, however PDP in order to remain in power corridors and appease their masters, used these weapons against innocent and unarmed civilians.
Their rhetoric for battle of ideas, is nothing but hoax, said Hurriyat (G) and instead caged people and strangulated their genuine voices. Slapping PSA against its opponents and youth is its favourite game, said Hurriyat and added that PDP puppets of Nagpur have crossed all limits and turned valley into a graveyard.
Hurriyat Conference (G) expressed its deep concern over the deteriorating condition of prisoners, saying they are being subjected to political vendetta and no proper medical treatment is provided to ailing detainees.

“More than 300 activists are still languishing in different detention centres and police lockups,’’ said Hurriyat.
The statement said that people bailed out by the courts are not being released. “On one or the other pretext their detention period is prolonged and those bailed out by judiciary are rearrested by police and detained again on fictitious charges and PSA slapped on them.
World community has declared public safety act as black law, said Hurriyat (G) and added that people and political activists are being subjected to vengeance, saying it has turned situations in state volatile and extremely explosive.
Appealing international organizations including United Nations Human Rights Commission, Asia watch and Amnesty International for their cognizance, APHC stressed to take notice of the inhuman and hostile treatment meted out to detainees lodged in different jails and stressed to take serious notice about indiscriminate use of infamous Public Safety Act against innocent Kashmiri prisoners.
