Srinagar, Jun 24 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expelled Mehrajudin Rather S/o Ab Hamid R/o Nesbal Sumbal Sonawari from the basis membership of the party. He was a member of party youth wing and has been involved in party indiscipline and antiparty activities.
Taking cognizance of the matter the party vice president Mohammad Sartaj Madni has directed to expel him from the party’s basic membership.
This was disclosed hereby a party spokesman and said that party will not tolerate any kind of activity which brings bad name to us.
Mushtaq Ahmad Dar, son of Ghulam Muhammad Dar, resident of Asham Sumbal alleged that Rather had sought Rs 40,000 from him to appoint him as SPO. “Rather has failed to appoint me as SPO and is not providing the money back. I belong to a poor family but he played with our sentiments. He might have befooled several others like this,” he said.
He also thanked PDP for giving him assurance to get his money back. (KNS)
