Indrabi moves into well of house with a banner in favour of Hiller Shabad Shopkeepers

Jammu, Feb 06 (KNS): The proceedings of the assembly here on Tuesday started with a strong protest from PDP MLA and former minister Syed Farooq Indrabi over his demand for the rehabilitation of Shopkeepers of Toll Post Lower Munda.
According to the KNS correspondent, as the proceedings were about to start, Farooq Indrabi the PDP MLA from Dooru went into the well of the house with a banner on which was written the demand for rehabilitation of Shopkeepers of Hiller Shabad Dooru hit by closing of Lower Munda Toll Post. The words "I demand rehabilitation of shopkeepers of Toll Post Lower Munda Hiller Shabad Dooru Anantnag" were inscribed on the banner which Farooq Indrabi was holding in the well of the House.
Farooq Indrabi alleged that 200 shopkeepers and 300 vendors who were running trade outlets at Lower Munda Toll Post were earning their livelihood and have been deprived of the right to earn their livelihood by closing down the Toll Post at Lower Munda.
Minister for Parliamentary affairs Abdul Rahman Veeri pacified the protesting MLA of the ruling party and assured him that measures to rehabilitate the shopkeepers and vendors will be taken soon. (KNS)
