Sopore, July 20 (KNS): A lineman of the Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Ltd (erstwhile Power Development Department) died of electrocution in Yaseen Colony Arampora Sopore in north Kashmir's Baramulla district on Monday.
An official said that Sanaullah Dar (45) of Seloo Sopore received an electric shock while repairing an electric line at Yaseen colony area of Arampora Sopore .
Dar had suffered serious injuries in the incident, the officer said.
He was immediately taken to nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival, the officer added.
Meanwhile police in this regard have registered a case and started the investigation (KNS)
