Srinagar, Feb 01 ((KNS): The opposition parties National Conference and congress Thursday staged walkout in the Assembly against discrimination in macadamization of roads in the state.
According to the KNS correspondent, during the question hour minister for roads and buildings was replying to a question of National conference legislature Mubarak Gul, opposition members stood up from their seats and raised the issue of discrimination in road macadamization.
NC MLA Ali Mohammad Sagar said that unfortunately the constituencies represented by the opposition members were ignored but the constituencies represented by the rulig PDP-BJP combine were macadamized.
The Opposition MLA's asked Chief Minister to intervene into the issue.
The members shouted slogans like " discrimination nai chale gi, nahi chale gi".
Later the MLA's of NC, Congress stages walkout from the house. (KNS)
