Srinagar, Dec 29 (KNS): One-way traffic from Srinagar to Jammu plied on National Highway on Sunday with light motor vehicles (LMV) allowed to move from Qaizgund towards Jammu from 2 pm onwards.
The LMV operators were asked to cross the Qazigund junction before 4 pm. “The highway remained closed till 2 pm for maintenance work and after that it was opened for LMVs from Srinagar toward Jammu,” a Traffic police official told KNS.
He said one-way traffic from Jammu to Srinagar will be allowed on Monday. Meanwhile, the Srinagar-Leh highway, Anantnag-Kishtawar and Mughal Road continued to remain closed for vehicular traffic due to accumulation of several feet of snow and slippery road conditions. (KNS)
