Omar summons leaders of all South Kashmir's assembly segments for consultations on Lok Sabha Polls

Srinagar, Mar 17 (KNS): National Conference Vice President and former Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Sunday evening summoned all top leaders of all the assembly segments of four South Kashmir districts hours after addressing a rally at Anantnag.
Top National Conference sources told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that hours after addressing a rally at Anantnag Omar summoned leaders of all the assembly segments of four South Kashmir districts including former MLAs and MLCs for consultations on strategy for ensuing Lok Sabha polls.
The meeting held at the Gupkar residence of Omar Abdullah was also attended by party general secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Pir Mohammad Hussain, Altaf Kuloo, G N Ratanpuri, Sakina Itoo and many other top leaders.
The meeting held ahead of the National Conference Parliamentary Board for clearing the names of party candidates for Lok Sabha constituencies and evolving a strategy for the ensuing Lok Sabha elections in the state assumes significance. (KNS)
