Srinagar, Jan 19 (KNS): Noted political analyst and track II diplomat O P Shah on Saturday sought the release of Hurriyat Conference (M) Spokesman Shahid-ul-Islam on humanitarian grounds, saying that keeping in view the ailing condition of his wife Nuzhat Shah after a heart stroke which she fortunately survived last week.
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), O P Shah said that since the family compulsions have left no one in the family to take care of ailing Nuzhat Shah, the tenants of justice demand that Shahid-ul-Islam should be released on bail already filed by the counsel of Shahid-ul-Islam before the NIA court.
