No wrong if Government rehabilitate militants: Kavinder Gupta

Srinagar, Oct 12 (KNS): Few days after BJP UT President spoke tough against rehabilitation plan put forth by Lieutenant Governor J&K Manoj Sinha, party’s senior leader Kavinder Gupta on Monday seconded Government’s rehabilitation policy for those who will shun the path of militancy.
Gupta who was former Deputy Chief Minister of J&K, said that there is no wrong if Government will help and rehabilitate those militants who will shun the path of violence.
“Whosoever will give up the path of militancy will be welcomed. They too have families and there is no wrong in it if Government will help and rehabilitate them”, Gupta according to KNS said.
When asked about the alleged scandalous selection list of candidates in Fire and Emergency Department, BJP leader said that after other applicants brought the matter to fore, it is duty of the Government to investigate the matter thoroughly so that deserving candidates will be given their right.
Earlier BJP J&K President Ravinder Raina expressed disagreements with the LG’s statement and had said that “militants should be dealt sternly with bullets”. He had said that those challenging the integrity and sovereignty of country and killing innocents including forces personnel should be taught lesson. (KNS)
