Srinagar, Feb 01 (KNS): Nizamuddin Bhat former MLA and senior PDP leader has expressed his sympathies with five families from Ajas Bandipore whose kins were killed in security force firing this day in 1992. Bhat said the circle of violence has unfortunately still not come to an end.
The perpetual traumas as this continue to elude chances of peace and reconciliation. He said such episodes are reminders of pain and sufferings which influence young minds to abhor the system they are living in.
Bhat said every one desirous of a conducive atmosphere for a just social order would like to cooperate in efforts that seek to uphold human dignity and protect life and honour of each individual.
He said Ajas has suffered a lot like many parts of valley and appealed the people to help build a public opinion against violence so that individuals or groups thriving on blood of innocents are either isolated or made to pursue an ethical course matching the human values. He also hoped that powers that be will allow genuine Kashmiris to build a culture worth the reputation of "our" history and values. (KNS)
