Srinagar, Nov 19 (KNS): The night temperatures in Ladakh have dipped to minus 7.9 while Gulmarg recorded the coldest temperature of minus 4.6 degree Celsius.
The minimum temperatures on Sunday in Kargil, Srinagar and Pahalgam were minus 5.8, 2.9 and minus 0.5 degrees Celsius, respectively.
According to MeT officials, the weather in the next 24 hours will partially remain cloudy.
The fresh snowfall in the last 24 hours led to the closure of Mughal Road that connects Poonch and Rajouri districts of Jammu division with Kashmir valley. The historic road also serves as an alternate route between Kashmir and Jammu.
The road connectivity between Srinagar and Ladakh also remained suspended for the third consecutive day on Sunday due to heavy snowfall on Zojilla Pass. (KNS)
