Srinagar, Oct 22 (KNS): National Skill development corporation government of India under Udan Scheme supposed to give employment to Jammu and Kashmir youth through NISA, are allegedly ignoring the youth from Kashmir.
The authorities in Udan had authorized NISA a Mumbai based company to give employment to Jammu and Kashmir youth.
The scheme under Udan envisages that NISA has to give employment to Jammu and Kashmir Youth by generating assured job in different multinational companies.
Sources said that these boys were suppose to undergo specific training for four months and thereafter the NISA was asked to provide employment which is assured under the scheme.
But according to the youth aspiring for the job the company is concentrating in Jammu province only and are ignoring Kashmiri based educated youth.
The sources alleged that the company have enlisted scores of boys from Jammu where as they have absolutely ignored concentrating on Kashmir recruitment.
The youth from Srinagar conveyed their concern of having ignored the local educated youth.
They said that government of India has always ignored us, with the result the unrest among the youth is prevailing.
As per the sources the officers of NISA representing Udan scheme have shown no inclination for the recruitment of Kashmiri boys.
It is to mention that the NISA has to provide employment to these boys after undergoing training for four months at Delhi, in Multinational Companies with hefty salary package.
Sources said that no proper advertisement was ever issued and the selection was not done in the transparent manner.
However another sources stated that they have recruited only blue eyed boys from Jammu and have ignored large chunk of educated and genuine youth.
It is to mention here a press conference was given in Jammu recently wherein the scheme was introduced by the authorities of the NISA.
