Srinagar, Mar 14 (KNS): A worker of National Conference (NC) was on Thursday injured after being shot at in Bijbehara area of Anantnag district.
The injured identified as Mohd Ismail, 60, Block President National Conference was shot at and injured by unknown gunmen at Thajeewara Bijbehara in Anantnag South Kashmir.
According to KNS Correspondent, Tassaduq Rashid, he was shifted to SMHS from Bijbehara hospital.
Meanwhile, Medical Superintendent Bijbehara hospital, Dr. Showkat Ahmad talking to KNS said the injured has received bullet injury in his chest.
He said that his condition is stated to be critical.
Meanwhile, forces rushed to the spot and have launched a search operation to nab the attacker. (KNS)
