Asks Govt for policy to restore normalcy

Poonch, Jun 17 (KNS): National Conference today asked Government of India to take solid steps for restoration of peace in Kashmir valley and expressed deep condolence with the family of army jawan Aurangzed, who was abducted and killed while he was returning for Eid celebration at home.
A delegation of National Conference headed by Youth NC Provincial President Ajaz Jan visited the house of army jawan in Salani village of Mendhar and met with his family members expressing deep condolence on behalf of party higher command including Vice President Omar Abdullah.
Prayers for peace of departed soul were also performed.
Later, in the press statement, NC leaders have asked GoI to come forward with a concrete policy on restoring normalcy in valley.
"Government of India itself seem confused over Kashmir and there seem no concrete policy in their hands to deal with prevailing worrisome situation" said Ajaz Jan who underlined the need to take multi-dimensional efforts for restoration of peace.
"Abduction and killing of army jawan, assassination of senior journalist and such other incidents in valley are examples of tense situation in valley." (KNS)
