Srinagar, Feb 19 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Patron and Member Parliament Muzaffar Hussain Baig has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking his intervention for the safety and security of the Kashmiri students and other Kashmiris in several states of the country.
Meanwhile, Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Baig thanked Sikh community for providing the facilities of food and shelter to Kashmiris stuck in Jammu and other party of the country.
As already reported several students have come under attacks from the Hindu fundamentalists in different parts of the country and over three hundred students right now staying in Punjab are returning to their homes after facing attacks and threats from several quarters in Dehradun and other parts of the country.
Friday last week violent mobs attacked Kashmiris including government employees and torched their vehicles besides ransacking hotels of Muslim community and attacking government residential complexes in different parts of Jammu city. (KNS)
