Srinagar, Jan 21 (KNS): Over 27 years passed since Siraj Ahmad Misgar, brother-in-law of militant commander Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar was arrested, the family said on Monday and demanded whereabouts of their beloved.
“It was January 22, 1992 when Mushtaq Zaragr’s house was raided and two family members including his brother Fayaz Ahmad Zargar and his brother-in-law of Mushtaq were arrested,” the family said.
In a press statement issued to KNS, Fayaz Ahmad Zargar said that he was released after three days of incarceration but their brother-in-law Siraj Ahmad Misgar is still missing. “We have no information about the whereabouts of our brother-in-law who was arrested 27 years back,” he said.
“We demand authorities to come clear over the whereabouts of Siraj Misgar,” he said. (KNS)
