Srinagar, Apr 25 (KNS): Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman and the patron Mutahida Majlis-e-Ulema (MMU) Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Wednesday visited the Kashmir’s spiritual centre—the revered shrine of Hazrat Mir Syed Ali Hamadani popularly known as Shah-e-Hamdaan (RA) in Khankah-e-Moula downtown Srinagar to take the stock of the repair work of the minaret in the wake of deadly blaze last year.
Mirwaiz expressed his satisfaction over the repair working going on in the shrine stating that all people of Kashmir have great faith and belief attached to this shrine. Mirwaiz also exchanged ideas with the members of shrine management of Khankah-e-Moula and stressed on keeping the sanctity and spiritual importance of the shrine intact. (KNS)
