Srinagar, Apr 19 (KNS): A militant was on Friday killed in a brief shootout with the security forces in Malpora Mohalla of Watergam area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

SSP Sopore Javaid Iqbal while confirming to KNS said that one unidentified body has been recovered with pistol and grenade. "Search in the area is going on," he said. However, the identity of the slain militant was yet to be ascertained. (KNS)
