Malik pays tribute to Pilot Nadeem Khateeb on his anniversary

Srinagar, Feb 21 (KNS): Chairman Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Mohammad Yasin Malik Thursday paid tributes to Pilot Nadeem Khateeb on his anniversary today.
“Sacrifices of Martyrs like Pilot Nadeem Khateeb and others symbolize the sanctity of our freedom struggle. We salute a man who was leading a well-settled life in USA, sacrificed his life for the sacred cause and wrote a glorious page of valor, dignity and struggle,” Malik said in a statement issued to KNS.
Recalling the sacrifices and struggle of Pilot Nadeem Khateeb, Malik said that he was a great son of soil who left a lavished life for Deen-I-Mubeen, strived for the freedom of his nation and sacrificed his life for the same cause.
“Pilot Nadeem was a born revolutionary and he along with his childhood friend Shaheed I Kashmir Ishfaq Majeed Wani started his social work from school days at Tyndale Biscoe School and both embraced martyrdom for a just cause,” he said.
He said Khateeb’s martyrdom actually is an answer to all those who associate the freedom struggle of Kashmiris with poor economy, unemployment and at times dub people in resistance as miscreants or misled people.
Malik said “today when we recall the struggle and sacrifices of Nadeem Khateeb, we pledge to take forward their mission to its desired goal.”(KNS)
