Srinagar, Oct 18 (KNS): Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) Jammu Kashmir on Thursday expressed deep concern over the killing of Raees Ahmed by the forces.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, Dr Abdullah Ghaznawi while quoting the outfit chief Mahmood Shah as saying, “Indian forces with their oppressive attitude are forcing the youth to pick up gun against oppression.”
Shah warned India of “severe consequences if their ill-fated vicious behavior continued. “The day will not be far away when the children of Jammu Kashmir will pick guns instead of stones against occupational forces. The circumstances are being developed in this direction,” Shah said.
Shah further stated that “Modi government is spilling the blood of innocent youth to get a marginalized win in 2019 elections. None can realize the feelings of a mother who has watched the atrocities being imposed upon her children by Indian Forces. But Indian forces must pay the price for their wrongdoings.”
Mahmood Shah thanked the public for attending the funeral prayers of Mehraj-ud-din Bangru and Fahad Mushtaq in masses.
He said that “participation of thousands of Kashmiris into the funeral prayers of freedom fighters is enough for the world, the international organizations and India itself to see that Kashmiris have altogether rejected the Indian occupation. And that they are standing in solidarity with freedom fighters.”
"The chanting of slogans of Lashkar 'Dekho Dekho Kon Aya... Sher Aya Sher Aya... Lashkar Aya Lashkar Aya' is a wakeup call for us to stand once and for all against Indian occupation. With the grace of Allah SWT, the freedom fighters and the public are on the same page. India is trying hard to damage this trust by planting misconceptions, and by killing those associated with indigenous freedom struggle. But by Allah SWT, such vicious plots are bound to fail,” the statement added.
Meanwhile Shah paid tribute to Shoukat Ahmed Bhatt who was killed in Padgampora and said that “the pure blood of martyrs will bring glad tidings and freedom from Indian occupation.” (KNS)
