Srinagar, Jan 04 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested a Lashker-e-Toiba militant from SMHS hospitalin Srinagar.
A police official said Dar was arrested by Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police from the hospital.
The arrested militant associated with militant outfit Lashker-e-Toiba has been identified as Nisar Ahmad Dar, resident of Parry Mohalla, Hajin Bandipora.
Nisar according to police was involved in 8 cases, 7 in 2016 and one in 2019, he was detained twice under the Public Safety ACT (PSA) in 2016 and then 2017 the official said.
Dar was close associate of Salim parry, a top Laskher-e-Toiba militant from north Kashmir, said an officer (KNS).
