Tangdar, (Kupwara) Jan, 11 (KNS): The only road that connects Tangdar and adjoining villages to rest of the world on Saturday opened for the vehicular traffic movement after remaining closed for five days.
According to KNS correspondent 80 passengers vehicles were allowed to move from Tangdar towards Kupwara from early morning to 2 pm and later the vehicles were allowed to ply on the opposite side of the road.
The road was closed on Monday after the snowfall in the area.
The residents of the border area were also demanding the tunnel to skip the Sandna top.
It is worth to mention that the road is being frequently blocked after snowfall in the area and the area remains cut off to the rest of the world (KNS)
