Srinagar, Feb 20 (KNS): Khurshid Ahmad Shah presently commissioner secretary to government public works (R&B) department has been asked to hold additional charge as Secretary, PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control Department and Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction following the application of Farooq Ahmad Shah, the outgoing secretary PHE, I&FC for voluntary retirement.
An order issued From the General Administration Department said that Khurshid Shah Commissioner Secretary to government Public Works (R&B) department shall hold the additional charge as secretary PHE and I&FC till further orders.
The order was issued hours after the department of information and public relations on its twitter handle said that Farooq Shah Secretary PHE and I&FC has applied for voluntary retirement. (KNS)
