Srinagar, Mar 19 (KNS): Locals and Khudaman-e-Khanqah (caretakers) today expressed their gratitude to the district administration and JKPCC for completing the restoration work of historical Khanqah-i- Maula in a record time.
JKPCC was assigned the reconstruction and repair work of the shrine which suffered some damage in a fire incident on November 15th last year.
Expressing their satisfaction over the work done, the caretakers of the shrine said that the new dome has been reconstructed as per the original design and dimensions.
The locals and caretakers also expressed their gratitude to the Chairman and Vice Chairman, Waqf Board and Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, who is the nodal officer of this project, for their sincere support.
The new dome would be installed on March 30th, which as per Islamic calendar would be 12th of Rajab 1439 Hijri. (KNS)
