Srinagar, Jan 08 (KNS): Awami National Conference President Khalida Shah called the meeting of former MLAs with Lt Governor as repetition of ‘bloody drama enacted in 1953’ in J&K.

She said in a statement issued to KNS that these MLAs should have raised the issue of Article 370 with Lt Governor rather than Article 371 or statehood.

“Linking our status with Nagaland, Mizoram, Auranchal Pradesh is a joke. Our flag represents sacrifices of our people. How can they forget this?

Criticizing the members of the delegation, she said that their move seems repetition of sellout which happened in 1953.

She also said that Yashwant Sinha, P Chidambaram, Stalin of DMK, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Sitaram Yechuery are vociferously advocating return of special status to J&K. (KNS)
