Authorities suspend 2g mobile internet services

 Srinagar, Feb 11 (KNS):   Normal life on Tuesday disrupted in Kashmir valley on the 26th death anniversary of Mohammad Maqbool Bhat who was hanged on 1984 in Tihar jail.

Reports reaching to Kashmir News Service said that all the shops, Business establishments, coaching centres were shut in the Srinagar city and adjoining areas. 
Bhat, from North Kashmir’s Kupwara, was hanged on Feb 11, 1984, at Tihar jail. He lays buried inside the jail and his family has been demanding his mortal remains.
Similar reports were also received from others district headquarters of Kashmir where shops were shut and the public transport was off from the roads; however the private transport was seen plying on the roads.
The authorities have also suspended the low speed internet services across the Kashmir valley and suspended Train services from Baramulla to Banihal section as precautionary measure,
Security forces were deployed in strength to thwart any protest.
However ,the low speed internet services was restored in Kashmir valley on 4:20 Pm   (KNS).
