Kashmir records 6th Covid-19 death, Tangmarg man passes away at SKIMS Bemina


Srinagar, Apr 25 (KNS): Kashmir Valley on Saturday recorded sixth Covid-19 death as 72-year old man from Tangmarg area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district passed away at SKIMS Bemina.
Medial Superintendent SKIMS Bemina, Dr Shifa Deva said the elderly patient from Qazipora Tangmarg was tested positive earlier and on Saturday morning he died.
“The 72-year old man was admitted in the hospital on April 13 who was suffering from hypertension and other ailments”, MS said.
With the fresh death, the number of casualties due to the novel Corona Virus has reached to six in Jammu and Kashmir. Earlier five patients were passed away due to Covid-19 including four from Kashmir and one from Udhampur district of Jammu region. (KNS)
