Srinagar, July 16, (KNS): Border town karnah in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday reported first coivid 19 related death after a elderly man dies here in SMHS soura
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS) A 60-year-old man died at a Srinagar hospital on Thursday, after tested positive for coronavirus. This was the first Civid-19 death case in Karnah.
The man, a resident of Hajitra area in Karnah, was suffering from heart ailment and was admitted to Srinagar's SMHS hospital last week Doctor took his samples for COVID-19 and found COVID-19 positive and has been converted into a COVID-19 treatment facility. The deceased man had no travel history or contact with any COVID-19 positive case.
Meanwhile, Karnah administration started tracing people to find the possible contact of the deceased Block medical officer Karnah Dr. Farooq Qureshi said " “Our medical team is currently on ground to monitor the health condition of the people with whom the deceased had contacts (KNS)
