Prays for eternal peace to departed soul

Srinagar, Mar 22 (KNS): Kashmir News Service (KNS) staff members Thursday visited the residence of poet, author and senior journalist, Maqbool Sahil to express solidarity with the bereaved family.
On behalf of KNS Editor-in-Chief, Muhammad Aslam Bhat, the KNS staff including Tassaduq Rashid, Hussain Babu and Aarif Hussain visited late Maqbool Sahils residence.
The management prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul and prayed for the courage to the bereaved family.
They also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
KNS management described late Maqbool Sahil as ‘Beacon of light’ termed described his demise as big loss for the field of Urdu journalism.
Sahil died on Tuesday due to massive cardiac arrest. He was buried at his ancestral graveyard at Adhal Vailoo, Kokernag.
He is survived by his four sons, daughter and a wife.
Sahil’s elder son, Iqbal is pursuing masters in Mass Communication in the University of Kashmir. (KNS)
