Srinagar, Nov 20 (KNS): Senior Vice President of Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCC&I), Nasir Hamid Khan Monday had an urgent meeting with the Minister of Finance, Labour & Employment, Dr Haseeb Drabu in the Civil Secretariat, Jammu regarding the implementation of the SRO-472 by the Labour & Employment Department, which seeks the closure of shops and establishments on various days of the week.
According to the statement issued to KNS, in this regard, the viewpoint of the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry was brought to the attention of the Minister.
After deliberations, Dr Drabu assured the Kashmir Chamber that their viewpoint would be given a positive and appropriate response by the State Government and all stakeholders would be taken on board while formulating any policy matter.
The Finance Minister as per the statement also said that the Government would reasonable consider the request of the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry about keeping the operation of SRO-472 in abeyance for the time being. (KNS)
