Srinagar, Jun 18 (KNS): Fire broke out suddenly in J&K Bank’s Botashah Mohalla Business Unit today afternoon which was brought under control without causing any major damage. The Bank authorities’ prompt intervention ensured restoration of the functioning of the Business Unit in the earliest possible time.

The branch shall continue to dispense unhindered and uninterrupted banking service to its clientele from tomorrow onwards.

Zonal Head Kashmir Central 1, Tabassum Nazir along with a team of engineers from Corportae Headquarters visited the site and ensured timely restoration of the functioning.

It is in place to mention that records and lockers are absolutely safe.

Notably, the Bank has a Board approved Business Continuity Plan (BCP) in place to address such exigencies. (KNS)
