Srinagar, Oct 11 (KNS): Jamiat-ul-Mujahideen Chief, General Abdullah on Thursday paid tributes to the slain Hizb commander Manan Wani who was killed in an encounter that raged between forces and militants in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, Jamiat-ul-Mujahideen spokesman Jameel Ahmad quoted the outfit chief as saying that “Manan Wani has proved that he as being an intellect sacrificed everything for the sake of Allah.”
“Manan Wani despite being highly qualified joined the militant ranks at a time when he had every facility were available to him. But he choose this way for the sake of Allah,” he said.
He also said that “Manan Wani passed the test he faced after joining the militant ranks.” (KNS)
