Srinagar, May 27 (KNS): Joint resistance leadership called shutdown on Tuesday 29th May in Shopian and its surroundings against double murder and rape of Asiya and Nilofer. Remembering the gruesome incident of double rape, the JRL said that Asiya and Nilofer were abducted, gang raped and then mercilessly killed by ‘brutal forces’.
In remembrance of the double murder and rape case of Asiya and Nilofer a shutdown has been called on 29 May in the district, the JRL said and added that instead of taking strict action against those involved in double rape and murder, are awarded and rewarded. No FIR was lodged, blamed JRL and criminals are being shielded by authorities, JRL said
While demanding the impartial investigation by some independent institution into all the gang rape incidents of Jammu & Kashmir said that United Nations War Crimes Tribunal should held accountable all the army personals involved in this heart wrenching incident. (KNS)
