Srinagar, Feb 01 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Zamindar Forum (JKZF) on Friday supported Anna Hazare and Kisan Maha Sangh’s protest hunger strike at Annaj Mundi Faridabad.
The forum, as per statement issued to KNS, joined hands with Anna Hazare and Kisan Maha Sangh over the demands including load wavier, implementation of MSP, Commission from buyers, monthly pension for farmers and labours and Lokpal.
JKZF also sought implementation of the Swaminathan Commission recommendations to alleviate the plight of farmers, who have been facing serious economic crisis from last few years.
“The government has not acted on these demands despite repeated requests,” Tanveer Ahmad Chief Coordinator of the forum said. (KNS)
