JKTJAC Holds Condolence Meeting


Srinagar, Mar 01 (KNS): A condolence meeting was organised by the Jammu Kashmir Teachers' Joint Action Committee ( JKTJAC) headed by UT President Vinod Sharma to mourn the untimely death of late Sushil Singh Son of Dewan Singh teacher who lost his precious life in a tragic road accident at Garnie ( Udhampur) on last Thursday. The condolence meeting was attended by a large number of teachers from all the eleven zones of the district. While speaking on the occasion Vinod Sharma lauded the role played by the teacher for the welfare of the teachers in general and ReT cadre in particular by holding the portfolio of Zonal President Tikri for last more than 15 years. He said that his selfless services will never be forgotten. On the occasion two minutes moan was held and a rich tribute was paid to the departed soul. Meanwhile JKTJAC leadership appealed the district administration to make a through probe of the accident and demanded a stern action against the erring truck driver so that such accidents be avoided in future Others who also paid tribute to the departed soul were: Sukhdev Singh Sumbria, Lekh Raj Parihar, Sham Sharma, Sukesh Khajuria, Ashok Seth, Pritam Goswami, Parmod Sharma, Bhushan Khajuria, Ravinder Singh Rathore, Sandeep Sharma, Jagadish Chander Sharma, Vipin Sharma, Viney Sharma, Rekha Thakur, Ajaz wani, Sudesh Azad and others.
